The Hamsterwheel, New Boston NH
The Hamsterwheel is a timed running event held in New Boston, NH near the Hillsborough County Fairground at 17 Hilldale Lane. The event uses a 4.0 mile loop that follows the New Boston Rail Trail along the Piscataquog River to the turnaround at Lang's Station. The loop is largely flat with one minor speed bump and includes a gravel service road around the fairgrounds. Course markings include visible signs and flags.

Loop tracking is handled by Second Wind Timing with chipped bibs at the start and finish; bibs should be worn on the front of the body for accurate totals. A central aid station at the start and finish supplies water, NUUN, Tailwind, sodas, fruit, energy gels, and other food items; lunch and dinner options are provided for longer entrants and breakfast is provided for 24 and 30 hour participants.
Teams are allowed with each member registering separately and including a team name. Pacers are not permitted in the 6 hour event; 12, 24 and 30 hour entrants may use one pacer at a time after dark. Pacers and crew must have a food ticket. Dogs are not allowed on the grounds. Tents, small pop ups, canopies, and RVs are permitted; quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM and camping is restricted to event dates only.
Runners in the 12, 24 and 30 hour events must supply their own headlamps. The refund policy offers a full refund minus registration fees if cancellation is completed through the registration system at least 60 days before the event; within 60 days the fee is forfeited or may be deferred to the following year.
