The Hamsterwheel - New Boston, NH
The Hamsterwheel is a timed loop running event held near the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds in New Boston, NH. The course follows the New Boston Rail Trail along the Piscataquog River to a clearly marked turnaround at Lang's Station, then returns to a gravel service road around the fairgrounds. The full loop measures 4.0 miles and is described as largely flat with one minor bump.

Loop tracking uses chipped bibs scanned at the start/finish by Second Wind Timing; runners should place bibs on the front of their bodies for accurate totals. One central aid station at the start/finish supplies water, NUUN, Tailwind, sodas, fruit, energy gels, and other food. Lunch and dinner options are provided for the longer events, and 24- and 30-hour runners are offered breakfast. Course markings include visible signs and flags.
Teams register individually but may run under a shared team name. Buckles are awarded for completing 100 miles individually or as a team. Pacers, crew rules, camping permissions, quiet hours, and dog restrictions apply: pacers are not allowed in the 6 hour event; dogs are not permitted on the grounds; tents, small canopies, and RVs are allowed with quiet hours enforced. Runners in the 12, 24 and 30 hour events must supply their own headlamps.
The refund policy allows a full refund minus registration platform fees if cancellation is completed through the registration system at least 60 days before the event; within 60 days the fee is forfeited or a deferment to the following year may be requested.
