About the race
The Good Loop is a two-hour holiday charity run at Coronation Park in Toronto on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. The event is organized to raise funds and collect essential items for Ubuntu Community Network’s 2026 Holiday Initiative, with 100% of proceeds directed to the initiative.
Participation requires a $10 donation to join, with the option to give more. The format is informal: participants may run, jog or walk at their own pace, there is no race clock and no minimum distance requirement. During the two-hour loop, organizers will hold 50 prize giveaways at intervals along the course; being on the loop is required to be eligible for these draws.
Ubuntu’s Holiday Initiative supports the distribution of Winter Care Kits, special holiday gifts for families, and holiday cookies. Winter Care Kit items listed for collection include hats, gloves, scarves, hand warmers and personal care products. The initiative mobilizes a volunteer network each December and aims to provide essential items and wrapped gifts to people across Toronto during the holiday season.
Event activities include community gatherings of local running and fitness groups, wellness samples, photos and other holiday-themed elements. Organizers will also accept donated items for the Winter Care Kits to extend the impact beyond the running loop. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
