Douglas Dash
Douglas Dash is an urban trail run held as part of the 2027 Port Douglas Carnival on Sunday, 23 May 2027. The course is approximately 5 km and follows beach sand and dirt track terrain.
The event starts at Four Mile Beach Park off Barrier Road in Port Douglas and finishes at Rex Smeal Park, Port Douglas. The route moves along coastal and unsealed surfaces appropriate to a beach-and-track setting.
Registrations are not open yet; registrations close on Saturday, 22 May 2027. Entry fees vary by membership and age: non-club members 18 and over $25.00, club members 18 and over $16.25, non-club members under 18 $15.00, and club members under 18 free. A tailor-made medal is included with the race fee.
Participants may bring dogs on a leash. A medal for dogs can be purchased separately, with proceeds from dog medal sales donated to YAPS. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
