The Chiggy Ultra 2026 : Cape Chignecto Provincial Park
The event takes place at Cape Chignecto Provincial Park in Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia. The course uses technical single-track trails and features about 2200 m of vertical gain per loop.
Distance options listed by the organizer:
- The Rockhammer - ~9 km short, hilly, technical trail.
- One Loop - ~51 km roughly 2200 m vertical gain, three aid stations.
- Two Loops - ~102 km two laps of the course.
- Three Loops - ~153 km three laps; an extra section can make an official 100 miles.
All aid stations are scheduled to close by 12 pm on Sunday; participants still on course after that time will be managed case by case. Organizers state that refunds and deferrals are not offered. Bib transfers are permitted until September 26, 2025. An optional Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection is available to cover items such as injury, illness, severe weather, and COVID-19.
Published entry fees include mandatory charges and vary by distance (examples provided: 1 lap CA$125, 2 laps CA$175, 3 laps CA$225, The Rockhammer CA$29.26).
