About the race
The Cederberg Stage Run is a three-day trail running stage race held 3–5 September 2027 at Kromrivier, Cederberg Park near Clanwilliam in the Western Cape, South Africa. The event is a staged race with a total advertised stage distance of 68 km spread over three days and includes fully stocked aid stations and conservation fees.
Entry options include solo and team entries, with tiered pricing periods (Early Access, Early Bird, Normal Entry) and a payment plan option. Entries close 15 August 2027. Race entry includes a race T-shirt, seven meals (three breakfasts, three dinners and a Sunday brunch), drinks at registration and the finish line, a goody bag, and category prizes.
Daily stage distances and elevation gains:
- Day 1: 35 km, D+1100 m
- Day 2: 24 km, D+1040 m
- Day 3: 9 km, D+140 m
Accommodation is not included with race entry and must be arranged separately. Cederberg Park at Kromrivier offers several accommodation types for the race weekend: luxury chalets, luxury tents, camping tents with mattresses, and limited self-camping sites. Accommodation availability is on a first come, first served basis and some options are priced per person or per night.
