The Bulldog Ultra
The Bulldog Ultra is a summer trail event held at Malibu Creek State Park in Calabasas, California. The event offers two distances and runs on single-track and fire roads through the Santa Monica Mountains, with ocean views from parts of the course.
The course features steep, long climbs and canyon sections where temperatures can reach triple digits. Aid stations along the route are stocked with Skratch Labs hydration. The event includes chip timing with same-day results, and finishers receive a medal and a race tee.
Prizes are offered for top finishers, with a podium prize purse of $4,000 and additional cash bonuses including a $500 25k CR bonus and a $3,500 50k cash prize purse. The Bulldog Ultra is Race 3 of the Bulldog Challenge Series. The event has historically sold out in past years.
Post-race amenities include complimentary breakfast tacos, a hand-brewed beer garden and race-day festival exhibitors. Sport massage services are available after the race, and race-day photos are provided at no charge.
