The Bristol Winter Warmer Run
The event offers three distances around Ashton Court, Long Ashton, Bristol BS41 9LX and supports the charity Shelter. Entry prices increase on 2 January 2027. Fundraising for Shelter is optional and has no minimum target.
- 5 km one lap
- 10 km two laps
- Half Marathon four laps
The course is a mix of trail and path with a steep incline for the first 2 km, then a flatter section followed by a downhill. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs. Starts are staggered to reduce congestion and timing uses chip on bib with results recorded when a runner crosses the start mat.
Included race services and event provisions comprise full race chip timing, trophies for winners, unique medals for finishers, water stations, finish line water and sweets, marked and marshalled course, medical cover, and partner benefits including voucher points. Bag storage is available but space is limited. Toilets and a central event hub will be on site and coffee and snacks will be available for purchase. Results are displayed by the timing provider and are published online after the race.
Shelter activity figures for April 2024 to March 2025 include support to 16,721 households via the emergency helpline, 13,130 households at local hubs, 7.4 million visits to online advice pages, and 13,700 households achieving a positive change in housing situation.
