Tempo Summer 5K Series Race 1
Tempo Summer 5K Series Race 1 is the first event in a three-race series organised by Tempo Events. Each race in the series covers approximately 5K and uses different local roads and paths. Completing all three races may earn a Tempo Events Series T-Shirt.
Race 1 is based at Tysoe Village Hall in Tysoe, Warwick, Warwickshire CV35 0SE. The course for this race runs on the road between Tysoe and Oxhill and is an out-and-back route. The organiser describes this as the flattest route of the series.
Race 2 is a circular road route starting from a village near Pebworth, routing along Long Marsden Road towards Dorsington and returning on Dorsington Road. That route is planned entirely on road with a full road closure.
Race 3 is based on a private estate near Stratford-upon-Avon at Alscot. The route for the final race combines road and trail sections and is held on estate land.
Entry for Race 1 is listed with a fee of £26.00. The series is presented as a set of three separate races, each with its own course characteristics. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
