Telegraph 'Ram'page Trail Race
The event takes place at Telegraph Trailhead in Yuma, Arizona, at the base of the Gila Mountains on the Sonoran Desert. It features trail running and family activities on single-track and dirt trails with rolling terrain, a notable climb, and open mountain views. An aid station is located at the base of the climb.
Two course options are offered:
- 6 Miles: scenic out-and-back on single-track through the Sonoran Desert around Telegraph Pass
- 1,000 feet: flat, non-technical kids' loop at the start area
Amenities and site logistics include on-site packet pick-up and on-site registration on race day, porta-potties at the start and the aid station, marked parking, food vendors, first-aid trained volunteers, and ATV access on the course. The event follows Leave No Trace principles for participants and crews. A finisher drink ticket for a local brewery in historic downtown Yuma, event swag, lucky-draw prizes, and a best-dressed costume prize are part of the event offerings.
Organized by the Caroline Lott Jessen Foundation, a 501(c)(3), all net proceeds are designated for the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area to support trail building and marking in Yuma's East Wetlands. Entry is limited to 150 runners. Registration details and fees are provided by the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
