Tatra SkyMarathon Festival
The Tatra SkyMarathon is a multi-day mountain running festival located in the Tatra Mountains of Poland. The event aims to highlight the sporting character of the Podhale and Orava regions through a series of trail and skyrunning races. Participants can choose from a wide variety of distances and elevation profiles:
- Orava 120: 120 km with 5300 m of positive elevation gain.
- Orava 80: 80 km with 3750 m of positive elevation gain.
- Tatra Skyline: 54 km with 5200 m of positive elevation gain.
- Tatra SkyMarathon: 45 km with 3300 m of positive elevation gain.
- Orava Marathon: 40 km with 2000 m of positive elevation gain.
- Tatra Half: 21 km with 1000 m of positive elevation gain.
- Tatra Trail: 10 km with 400 m of positive elevation gain.
- Mini Tatra Sky: 5 km with 120 m of positive elevation gain.
The festival also features the Bieg Świstaka and a Recovery Camp for athletes. For safety and compliance, specific mandatory equipment is required for the races. The event is organized by KW Zakopane and includes designated fan zones for spectators to follow the progress of the runners along the routes.
