About the race
The Tanúhegyek Trail is a trail running event organized by Terepfutó Műhely Sportegyesület in the Balaton-felvidéki Nemzeti Park. The start and finish are located in Badacsonytomaj at the Halászkert. The route options allow runners to summit different numbers of the characteristic tanúhegyek (witness hills): depending on the chosen course participants visit five, three, or one tanúhegy, with views toward Lake Balaton and the autumn-colored Balaton-felvidék.
The event is scheduled for 2026.11.14 and registration is listed as active. The organizers note that new medals have been produced and the updated medal will be available for the first 500 registrants; additional arrangements are planned for those who register later in the week before the race.

The race also has a charity element: participants may donate the deposit for the timing chip to support the Ürömi Állatotthon.
