Sylamore Trail 50K/25K Trail Race
The event offers two trail race distances held in Allison, Arkansas, along the White River near the junctions of Highways 5, 9, and 14, about 5.9 miles north of Mountain View. Check in is held on the front porch of Anglers White River Resort and both races start from the resort parking lot.
The courses are out and back formats. The 50K course is described as consisting of 14.5 miles of trail and 1 mile of pavement, with two water crossings at about 2 miles and 30 miles. The 25K course is described as consisting of 7.25 miles of trail and 1 mile of pavement, with two water crossings at about 2 miles and 14.5 miles.
Registration for each race carries a fee of $100. Awards are given to overall male and overall female finishers in both the 50K and the 25K. The event has a no refunds policy. There is no inclement weather policy; the race will be held regardless of temperature, precipitation, or the level of the creek crossing.
