Stranda Fjord Trail Festival 2027
Stranda Fjord Trail Festival 2027 is a multi-distance trail running event in Stranda. Each race has measured ascent and descent figures and course information with GPX files is available in the race manual.
The event includes these distances:
- 7 km Ljøbrekka Express: 370 m ascent, 500 m descent, gravel trail with Geirangerfjord view.
- 14 km Skurahornet up'n down: 848 m ascent and descent, steep climbs and flowy descents.
- 25 km Classic fjord trail: 1800 m ascent and descent across five-kilometre segments.
- 55 km loop: 3800 m ascent and descent, fjord, alpine ridges, forest, mountain lakes.
- 95 km loop: 6800 m ascent and descent, runs between two fjords and four villages.
Some race formats include social elements. The 7 km Ljøbrekka Express lists an after race barbecue and a concert. The event program also lists an after race dinner at Storfjord Kulturhus.
