Stone Cross to Lug - Solo

The event is a solo mountain running route in County Wicklow held on Saturday 26 September 2026. The course follows the three relay legs between Stone Cross and Lug, totaling 49.00 km with 2,170 m of climb. The route is not marked and the use of GPS is not allowed.

The route passes multiple upland summits and changeover points, and includes exposed sections. There are designated checkpoints and time cutoffs at changeover locations; competitors should expect these controls on the course. Registration and race information are based at Seehan Forest. Prizegiving is at Fenton's Bar in Glen of Imaal.

Level C mandatory kit is required and will be enforced; items listed include a waterproof jacket with hood and taped seams, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, charged mobile phone with emergency number, foil blanket or bivvy, waterproof full leg cover, means to carry at least 500 mL of water, emergency food, map and compass. The exact kit to be carried may be finalised on the day and will be advised at registration. Random kit checks may occur and failure to carry required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification.
