Stellenbosch Garden Town Vineyard Run : Neethlingshof Estate
The Stellenbosch Garden Town Vineyard Run is a trail running event at Neethlingshof Wine Estate in the Bottelary Hills, Stellenbosch, Western Cape, on 31 October 2026. Routes pass through vineyards and Renosterveld and link multiple farms for longer distances.
Distances offered:
- 7 km : course contained within Neethlingshof
- 16 km : extends to neighbouring Wolwedans
- 25 km : links Neethlingshof, Wolwedans, Fort Simon, Kaapzicht and Mooiplaas and returns
- 36 km : a continuous route through six properties with about 1 500 metres of climbing
There are two participation styles: a relaxed option where participants may start at their chosen time for the 7 km, 16 km and 25 km distances, and a traditional race start for those who prefer to line up together. The relaxed option is not available for the 36 km.
Every entry includes a limited edition pair of THE Socks featuring the event Renosterveld flower and a large Garden Town finisher's medal. Walkers and first-time trail participants are welcome. Online entry fees are listed per distance with discounts for TrailFun HERO members and junior runners; on-the-day entries cost R50 more than online prices.
