The Stansted House Trail Run takes place within the grounds of the Stansted Estate near Portsmouth in Hampshire. The event offers multiple trail distances over paths that run through South Downs woodlands, open fields and across estate grounds beside the historic Stansted House.
The course passes through vibrant forests where sunlight filters through the canopy, and opens into fields dotted with wildflowers that provide views across rolling countryside. Local wildlife such as deer and woodland birds is commonly seen along the route. The estate's historic architecture forms part of the route backdrop.
Distances available:
- 21.4 km (Half Marathon)
- 16.1 km
- 10 km
Event services include chip timing, on-course refreshments and first aid cover. Routes are fully signed using pink arrows and pink tape, with hazards and road junctions marked with caution signs. The event operates a plastic-free approach; participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle for water stations. Bib numbers are collected at registration on arrival and should be displayed clearly during the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
