The event offers the following distances:
- 5K run/walk; open to runners and walkers.
- 10K run; runners only.
- Both 5K & 10K combined entry for participants taking part in both races.
Registration opens on 2026-09-10. There is an early registration period with an early deadline of 2027-03-05 and higher late fees after that date. Cash-only registration is available on race day. Early registrants receive a t-shirt and a goodies bag; late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt or bag.
The course is an out-and-back on crushed limestone along the Panhandle Trail. Each race is limited to 90 minutes and the trail is shared with the public. Participants should keep to the right, run or walk no more than two abreast, display their bib on the front, and note that bikes are not allowed. Children, pets and strollers are permitted but should leave room for others to pass. Aid is provided at the start/finish and at specified mile markers with water-only stations on the course.
Free parking is available in the Helicon Brewing lot with additional grass parking. Restrooms are available in the Helicon Brewing building. Nearby food vendors and local restaurants will be on hand. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
