SoCalUltraTrail at Tejon Ranch
SoCalUltraTrail at Tejon Ranch takes place on February 27, 2027 in Lebec, California, at the Tejon Ranch Equestrian Center. The event is organized by SoCalTrail and offers multiple trail distances on routes that run entirely on fire roads and ranch trails.
The courses cross canyons, creeks, mountain terrain and sagebrush plains, and pass through a variety of local biomes including 300-year-old oaks, seasonal wildflower displays, and distant Joshua Trees. Runners may encounter wildlife such as Rocky Mountain elk, mule deer, wild turkey, wild boar, black bear, bobcat, coyotes, raptors, and cattle. The 50k and 100k courses include the Grapevine switchbacks and extended climbs with significant elevation gain.
Event services include fully marked courses for daytime and night running, live GPS tracking, chip timing with same-day results, professionally staffed aid stations, and medical support at aid stations. There is a finish line festival with hot meals and a beer garden for attendees age 21 and over. Overnight camping and hotel accommodations will be available, and specific aid stations permit crew and spectator access.
Awards and recognition include finisher buckles and medals by distance, overall and age group awards for the 25k, 50k, and 100k, and prize purse and comp entry benefits for select winners. Entries are non-refundable but transferable before February 22, 2027; partial credit rules apply and the event may be postponed for hazardous conditions.
