Slopeside Slumber Party
Slopeside Slumber Party is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026 in Lewisberry, PA at Roundtop Mountain Resort. The event is organized by the York Road Runners Club and is part of the York Ridge Runners Trail Series. It features a time-limited main event and a separate kids race.
The main course uses an approximately 1.5 mile loop with about 600 feet of elevation gain. The loop includes roughly 0.5 miles of pavement and 1 mile of mowed grass, with a sustained climb to the high point in York County and a steep, fully lit descent. Loop tokens called pogs are given for each completed circuit and prizes called slammers are awarded to the top three finishers. Trail shoes are recommended for the descent. Headlamps are required for darker sections.
The kids race is a hilly, roughly one mile course intended to finish before dark. Children aged 12 and under may participate and adult companions may join if a waiver is signed.
Practical details for participants include visible front bibs, no course cutting, no unauthorised entries, no dogs, and no refunds or transfers. The event offers an aid station, restrooms, event swag, and food and beverage sales by card. Main event capacity is limited to 150 runners and the kids race to 40 runners.
