Sint PietersBear Trail
Sint PietersBear Trail is a trail running event on the Sint Pietersberg that passes through the ENCI Groeve near Maastricht. The event is listed as the 14th edition and is scheduled for 5 September 2027, date subject to change. Entry opens early May 2027 and, in consultation with the area manager Natuurmonumenten, only 750 start numbers will be available for the 2027 edition.
The terrain is varied and includes single tracks, steep climbs and runnable climbs, technical downhills and wider forest paths. Routes run through a protected nature area and touch the ENCI quarry and nearby gravel roads around Kanne and Maastricht. All distances start and finish at the Sint Pietersberg, ENCI-groeve, Lage Kanaaldijk in Maastricht. Final course maps are released one week before the event.
