Shining Hope Farms 5k/10k Salute Trail Run
Shining Hope Farms holds a Salute Trail Run on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at its Conover farm. The event honors Veterans, first responders, law enforcement, and those lost on 9/11. The venue is located at 6347 St. Peters Church Rd, Conover, NC 28613.
The course uses trails across the farm’s roughly 120 acres and includes about five miles of trail system. Participants may walk or run on either course; both distances are chip timed and an awards ceremony follows the finish.

Race registration includes a t-shirt. After finishing, food, drinks, and music are available at the farm. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at Shining Hope Farm in Conover and also on race day at the same location.
The event supports Shining Hope Farms’ Veterans program, Saddles and Salutes, at all three of the organization’s locations. Race participants may form teams to raise funds to Sponsor a Service Member for a year; every $1,000 raised provides an annual Saddles and Salutes scholarship.
