Shining Hope Farms 5k/10k Salute Trail Run
Shining Hope Farms hosts the sixth annual Salute Trail Run on September 12, 2026, at its Conover farm, located at 6347 St. Peters Church Rd, Conover, NC 28613. The event honors Veterans, first responders, law enforcement, and those lost on 9/11.
Runners and walkers can choose between two chip-timed trail distances. The farm comprises 120 acres with approximately five miles of trails. An awards ceremony follows the races. Registration includes a t-shirt, and participants may remain on site after finishing for food, drinks, and music.
The event supports the Saddles and Salutes veterans program across three Shining Hope Farms locations. Race participants may form teams to raise funds to sponsor a service member through the Saddles and Salutes program; every $1,000 raised provides an annual scholarship.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race and on race morning at the Conover location. Sponsorship opportunities are listed for the 2026 event, and several community sponsors are acknowledged.
