About the race
She Strides Backyard Ultra is a timed lap event held on 29 May 2027 at Stubbs Fields, Coiners Walk, Hebden Bridge HX7 5BS, United Kingdom. Participants run repeated laps of 4.167 miles, starting a new lap on the hour each hour. The event finishes when only one runner remains; all other competitors are recorded as DNF.
The event is mixed gender and operates from a central HQ and checkpoint area at the camp. On-site facilities listed by the organiser include hot drinks, food, and portable toilets. A gazebo area is available for participants. There is no mandatory kit list, but participants are advised to be prepared for varying conditions.
Entry is restricted to those aged 18 or older. Entries open Friday 19 June 2026 and close Saturday 22 May 2027. The standard entry fee for the Backyard Ultra is £100. An instalment option is offered with two payments of 50 percent each (£50 then £50).
