Shawnee Hills Trail Races, Camp Ondessonk (Ozark, IL)
Shawnee Hills Trail Races are held at Camp Ondessonk within the Shawnee National Forest and follow a figure eight loop that traverses sandstone canyon systems, oak-hickory, maple-beech, and pine forests. The route includes notable waterfalls and rock features such as Pakentuck Falls, Jackson Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Cedar Falls, and viewpoints from Salomon's Ridge.
