Seaside Showdown Series Mickeleens Path
The event is an approximately 11 km trail loop in Witless Bay, NL, organized by Seaside Showdown Series. The route is the Mickeleens Path Witless Bay Loop, beginning on the Old Track opposite the Witless Bay trail head and then connecting to Mickeleens Path. The course starts and ends in Witless Bay.
The course is not flagged; volunteers will be posted at key locations to help keep runners on the trail. Participants are expected to know the route. A GPX file is available on request and the series maintains a Strava club where routes can be downloaded. Community photo albums from previous years are also maintained.
Parking is suggested at the Witless Bay Seabird Ecological Reserve Tourist Information Centre near the beach and carpooling or being dropped off is encouraged. Registration and bib numbers are not transferable between individuals, though moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is allowed with advance notice. If the event is cancelled, refunds less service fees or rollover registrations may be offered.
