About the race
The Seaside Showdown Series presents a trail race on August 14, 2027 in Witless Bay, NL. The event is an approximately 11 km loop on Mickeleens Path that starts and ends in Witless Bay. The route begins on the "Old Track" opposite the Witless Bay trail head and then connects to Mickeleens Path.
The course is not flagged and participants are expected to know the trail. Volunteers will staff key locations to help keep runners on course. A GPX file is available on request and the Seaside Showdown Series Strava club hosts route files for download.
Logistics noted by the organizers include on-site race checkin at the starting line with bib pick up during checkin, and recommended parking at the Witless Bay Seabird Ecological Reserve Tourist Information Centre near the beach. Registration is listed with a fee of 29.00 USD and closes on August 13 at 11:59 PM NT. Registration and bib numbers cannot be transferred to other individuals, though moving a registration to another Seaside Showdown Series race is allowed with advance notice.
