Scrumpy Skedaddle
Scrumpy Skedaddle is a running event at Almar Orchard in Flushing, Michigan on September 27, 2026. The event finishes at the orchard and includes post-race music, hard cider tasting, a pancake breakfast, and family activities.

The course uses country and orchard roads lined with apple trees. Surfaces include orchard paths, dirt roads and some grassy stretches. Participants should expect a working orchard environment with fallen apples and occasional tractor ruts. The terrain is generally flat. Time limits apply: 75 minutes for the 5K, 2 hours for the 10K, and 2 hours 50 minutes for the 10M.
Logistics note: the start and finish are at Almar Orchard, with parking in nearby fields that requires about a 1/4 mile walk to the start/finish area. Packet pickup is available on a day prior to the race at Complete Runner Flint and on race day in the morning until shortly before each race.
Aid stations: one station on the 5K and 10K courses, and three stations on the 10M course, offering water and Gatorade.
Awards: all finishers receive a bottle opener medal and a finisher cup; overall awards are based on gun time and age group awards are awarded 3-deep by chip time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
