Scouts BSA Troop 541 and 542 10th Annual 5K Fall Trail Run and Walk
This event offers two 5K course options through Fort Washington State Park and along the Wissahickon Creek Green Ribbon Trial. The route follows wooded dirt and asphalt trails, crosses the old Reading Railroad bridge now used as a walking bridge, reaches historic Militia Hill, and returns along the same corridor. The setting is in the fall when leaves are turning and the air is cool.

The first 100 registered participants receive an official Fall Trail Run tec shirt. The 5K run awards prizes to the top overall male and female finishers and to overall age group winners in these brackets: Ages 1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Registration fees differ by event. All proceeds from the event support Scouts BSA Troops 541 and 542 in Maple Glen, PA, and their stated mission to serve others and to help instill values found in the Scout Oath and Law.
