About the race
The 59th International Schwarzwald-Marathon takes place in Bräunlingen and is organized by LSG Schwarzwald-Marathon e.V. The event spans two days in October 2027 and includes multiple running and walking disciplines for a range of age groups.
Distances and disciplines:
- Marathon (light blue), year of birth 2009 and older
- Staffelmarathon / relay marathon (light green), year of birth 2011 and older
- Half marathon (light red), year of birth 2011 and older
- 10 km run (yellow), year of birth 2013 and older
- 10 km Nordic Walking / Walking (white), year of birth 2013 and older
- 5 km run (purple), year of birth 2017 and older
- 1.05 km youth run (gray), years of birth 2018–2021
- 1.75 km youth run (brown), years of birth 2012–2017
Online registration opens on 09/10/2026 at 22:00 and closes on 07/10/2027. Late on-site registration is possible in the Stadthalle on Saturday 09/10/2027 from 12:00 to 18:00 and on Sunday 10/10/2027 from 07:00 until 60 minutes before the start of each race; after that only entry in a subsequent competition is possible and latecomers cannot be considered.
Entry fees are tiered and rise in several periods between October 2026 and October 2027; amounts differ by discipline. Start numbers are color coded to indicate the discipline.
