Santa's Resolution Fun Run/Walk : Centreville
This is a social runner/walker event held at Centreville Baptist Church, 870 Murray Drive, Centreville, NS, Canada. Participants choose a timed option and complete as much distance as they wish within that period on a marked out-and-back and loop course that uses asphalt and road surfaces.
Distances available:
- 1 hour
- 2 hour
- 3 hour
The course is a 5 km loop with about 19 meters of elevation gain or loss per loop. Directional signs mark the route; participants must check for traffic when crossing streets and are asked to face traffic while running or walking. This is not a competitive, timed race; individuals track their own distance and finishing time.
Aid is limited: two dispensing bottles will be available, one with water and one with mixed blue Gatorade; the event is cupless so participants should bring a carry bottle for refills. A first aid kit is located at the start/finish area. Upon arrival, registered participants receive a name tag for venue access.
A reception follows at the church with pizza, coffee pods, bottled water, pop, and a selection of cheesecakes. Santa will make a guest appearance during the reception and distribute small gifts; participants can choose a gift from a table as names are drawn. Full washrooms and parking are available at the church.
Registration is limited to 35 entries, age minimum 14. Price shown includes a processing fee: CA$33.46 total. All registrations are non refundable but eligible for a 100% deferral to the St Patrick's Day fun run/walk scheduled at the same location on March 14, 2027.
