Run The Roos
Run The Roos is a running festival on July 10th, 2027, staging point-to-point races between Lameroo and Pinnaroo in the Southern Mallee district of South Australia. The event offers multiple distances along largely unsealed roads that run parallel to the Mallee Highway and finish in Pinnaroo. Routes pass farms and paddocks with rural scenery and avoid busy traffic.

- 42.2 km Marathon
- 21.1 km Half-Marathon
- 10 km Fun Run
- 2 km Kids Run
Start locations vary by distance: the Marathon starts in Lameroo, the Half-Marathon starts near Parilla, and the 10 km and 2 km races start in Pinnaroo. All races finish in Pinnaroo. The organiser provides shuttle bus services between the local towns for participant transport and parking. Camping with shower and toilet facilities is available in Pinnaroo for the weekend for a fee, with free spots for under 16s; other local accommodation options include pubs, caravan parks, motels, and short-term rentals. The event is run by a local non-profit group and proceeds are used to run the event, with any surplus distributed to community volunteer groups.
