Running Tribe Races
Running Tribe Races use looped courses based on 7K or 10K circuits and take place at several venues in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire including Chalfont Park Sports Club, Chalfont St Peter Community Centre, Amersham Cricket Club, Sarratt Village Hall and Chesham White Hill Centre.
Participants may choose their distance on the day and complete anything from a single loop to an ultra distance. The looped format allows easy access to a personal drop bag for kit and nutrition checks.
- Courses 1, 2 & 3: 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon, 40 mile Ultra
- Courses 4, 5 & 6: 7K, 14K, Half Marathon, Marathon, 30 mile Ultra
One course option is a 10.8K loop composed of approximately 80% trail and 20% road, using public footpaths and woodland; total elevation is about 2,100 ft over six laps.
Aid is provided at the start/finish area with water, soft drinks and vegan or vegetarian food. Courses are clearly marked with well signposted road crossings. Pacers are welcome and crew support is permitted anywhere on course. Qualified medical support will be available throughout the event.
Medals are awarded to first, second and third place in each listed distance category (5K, 7K, 10K, 14K, Half Marathon, Marathon and Ultra). Entry is open to all abilities; participants should be comfortable walking or running at least 5K.
Recommended kit includes a 500ml minimum water bottle, a fully charged mobile phone, a head torch for winter events, weather appropriate clothing and a reusable cup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
