About the race
RunB4Wine 5K takes place on September 27, 2026 at Round Lake Vineyards and Winery in Round Lake, MN. The event is family and dog friendly and allows strollers. The course covers a 5K route that uses pavement and gravel, dirt, and grass trails through the vineyard and along the Round Lake lakeshore.
One water station is located along the route. No packet pick-up is required. A lakeside worship sunrise service is offered for participants and their families and friends. After the run, participants aged 21 and over receive a complimentary glass of wine; the vineyard’s full wine selection and food from the winery menu will also be available for purchase, together with event merchandise.
The event is held in memory of a baby who died after liver failure caused by a rare enterovirus. All proceeds support a pediatric intensive care unit fund that assists families of chronically ill children at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. Medals will be awarded to male and female overall first place finishers in three age categories: child (under 18), adult (18 to 55), and senior (over 55).
