Run with the Cops 5K : Minocqua
Run with the Cops 5K is organized by the Minocqua Professional Police Association and takes place on October 3, 2026 at Torpy Park in Minocqua, Wisconsin. The event is a community fundraiser; proceeds support the MPPA non-profit activities.
Funds raised help several local causes, including the Shop-with-a-Cop program, assistance for families in need, and sponsorship of school baseball teams. The MPPA describes the event as an opportunity to build relationships between local police and community members. Organizers plan a cops and robbers theme and encourage participants to wear costumes.
The event uses an out-and-back course on the Bearskin Trail, beginning at the Bearskin Trestle. Day-of registration and packet pick-up are available at the event. Medals will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers; there are no age group awards this year.
