Run Off-the-Grid - Mattawan, ON - September 26, 2026
Run Off-the-Grid takes place at 574 Snake Creek Road, Mattawan, Ontario, on a remote site. The course is 100% trail with no roads or pavement and uses a 12.5 km loop. The loop includes single track, old forest logging roads, rolling hills, steep climbs, rocky technical sections, creek crossings, a mud bog and a gravel pit with a sandy dune descent. Each loop is run in the opposite direction.

- 50 km four loops of 12.5 km
- 50 km relay four runners per team
A hike option is available for the 12.5 km and 25 km distances. A warm post-race meal is provided by a catering service with choices such as harvest chicken stew or curried lentil soup, buns, pasta salad and a leafy green salad; vegan and gluten-free options are available. Participants are asked to bring their own dishes and cutlery as no disposable dishware is provided. Additional meal tickets are offered for supporters.
On-site accommodations at Nature's Harmony include log cabins, yurts, geodesic domes and glamping; camping is available without hydro hook ups. Site amenities include compost toilets, eco-showers, a hot sauna, group fire pit areas, swimming in the bay and a play area for children. The event donates part of each registration to the local Mattawa Food Bank, collects used shoes for Soles4Souls, and reinvests remaining proceeds into Nature's Harmony Ecolodge.
