Run Nottinghamshire Sherwood Pines 10k
This event is a 10K trail race held at Sherwood Pines, a woodland park in Nottinghamshire, on 9th May 2027. The course uses well‑maintained forest paths, is traffic free and has a generally undulating profile. The minimum age for participants is 15.
The race is chip-timed by Timing4Sport and includes distance markers every 1 km and a water station at 5 km. Race headquarters and registration are at Sherwood Pines (NG21 9JL Kings Clipstone, Mansfield). Event facilities listed include bag drop, toilets, changing facilities, parking, first aid and catering on site. An optional race T-shirt may be pre-ordered for collection on the day. Every finisher receives a medal and post-race snacks.
Entry is limited to 500 places. Affiliated entry fee is £24 and unaffiliated entry fee is £26; entries close on 8th May 2027 and entries on the day incur an additional £5 fee. Chip timing, distance markers and marshals are provided.
Prize structure includes finisher medals, individual overall prizes with trophies and vouchers for top finishers, age-group prizes in five-year bands (minimum five runners per band to qualify), team prizes for UKA affiliated clubs where a club vest is worn, and performance bonuses and course-record awards for specific winning times.
