Run Muskegon Cross Country Night
Run Muskegon hosts a Cross Country Night at McGraft Park on the Muskegon High School cross country course. The community event features a 5K cross country run and walk held after the high school races where local teams from Muskegon, Mona Shores, and Reeths‑Puffer compete.
The course uses two loops inside McGraft Park, which allows participants to shorten the distance if they prefer. The event is informal: there are no bibs, official timing, or awards. Strollers are permitted on the course and dogs are not allowed.
Parking details note that the main lot near the clubhouse at 2204 Wickham Drive will not be available. Alternative parking is provided in the gravel lot on McGraft Park Road by the lagoon or on nearby local streets.
The meetup replaces the club’s regularly scheduled Wednesday night run. Attendance is free and optional donations will be accepted to support the Muskegon High School girls and boys varsity cross country teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
