Run for the Elk Race Festival
Run for the Elk Race Festival is a multi-distance road race held in Emporium, Pennsylvania, at E. 3rd and Chestnut Street along the West Creek Industrial Trail. The event includes marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K courses and is listed as occurring rain or shine.
The full marathon is presented as a Boston Marathon qualifier with certification number PA22017NP. The marathon is run as two loops of the course. The shorter courses are out-and-back formats that return to the finish.

There will not be a formal awards ceremony; awards can be picked up soon after finishing. Overall top finishers are recognized by gender/category, and age-group awards (top three) are listed across a range of age brackets. Pre-race packet pickup is available the evening before at the start/finish area, and race morning packet pickup is provided with on-site staff and self-lookup for bib numbers.
