Run For Palestine Fort McMurray 4th edition
The event takes place on September 13, 2026 at Birchwood Trails, Tamarack Way, centered near Doug Barnes Cabin in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is the fourth annual Run for Palestine in Fort McMurray.
The local event is part of a national series that has raised more than CA$700,000 since 2009 for humanitarian relief in Palestine. Proceeds from this edition are directed to humanitarian aid initiatives, with Islamic Relief Canada listed as a fundraising organization and a goal of CA$100,000.
Event activities include children’s races by age group, a run and a walk through forest trails, family friendly activities, and a community gathering centered near the cabin.
