Run for Isaac 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The event is a community running and walking fundraiser at Tamaqua Area High School, 500 Penn Street, Tamaqua, PA 18252. Proceeds will support a memorial scholarship established in the name of Isaac Curvey.
The program includes the following distances:
- 5K on the Tamaqua Area cross country course
- 1 mile fun run/walk on the Raiders Stadium track
The 5K is mostly a trail course with a track start and finish in Raiders Stadium. The 1 mile fun run/walk is four laps on the stadium track and is untimed; it does not include awards.
Race amenities include a guaranteed T-shirt for registrations completed by October 2; T-shirts after that date are available while supplies last. Post-race snacks are provided and coffee and breakfast items will be available for purchase.
Awards for the 5K include 1st overall male and female plus top three male and female in age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. Entry fees listed in event materials note a reduced fee that includes a T-shirt when paid by the specified deadline, with a higher fee thereafter while shirts remain available.
