Run De Jump
The Run De Jump is scheduled for October 3, 2026, at the Karl Eid Ski Jump. This is the event's second year at that venue.
Participants begin at the bottom of the ski jump, run up a cargo net, and continue to the top of the Hilltop Ski Area chair lift. Organizers describe the course as a test of speed and endurance that places load on the calves and quadriceps. Participants are explicitly prohibited from training or running on the cargo net before the event.
The field uses a wave-start format with roughly 15 to 20 people per wave. Wave assignments are made at random and waves are released at regular intervals. Event rules include no contact between participants, no poles, spikes, or traction devices, a requirement for slower participants to keep to the right, and a ban on portable music or headphones.
Entry fees are listed as $30 in advance and $40 for day-of registration; the final registration charge includes a 3% credit card fee at purchase. Bib pickup is arranged on the day of the event at the Karl Eid Ski Jumps. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason, including race cancellation.
