State Games of MS Rolling Hill Revival XC
The event takes place on December 5, 2026 in Morton, Mississippi at Roosevelt State Park. It offers two trail running distances.
- 7 Miler
- 14 Miler
The course is mostly natural-surface single track with a few short paved or gravel sections. The 7.0 mile loop has nearly 700 feet of elevation gain. Each runner must complete the full marked route to qualify for awards; cutting trails or leaving the posted course may result in disqualification if discovered or reported.
Roosevelt State Park charges a $2.00 per person day use fee payable at the park entrance; fees can be deposited in the honor box. Races start and finish at the ball field across from the main park office. The park has a 20-room hotel across the street, 15 renovated cabins, 110 full-hookup RV sites, and primitive camping; reservations are available via the MDWFP reservation system.
Both distances offer awards for top finishers: top three males and females overall and top three in Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), and Sr Master (60+) age categories. No participation medals are provided. If a runner starts in the 14 mile event and drops down to the 7 mile, they are not eligible for awards. Early packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Flowood and packet pickup is also offered on race day. Participants will have access to water, sports drink, and snacks. A Santa on Wheels car show will occur at the park the same day and food trucks will be available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
