Event Overview
ROGUE//MOUNTAIN is a distance event held at Mt Spokane State Park in Spokane, Washington. The event takes place at the Phase One training grounds, specifically staged from the Selkirk Lodge. Participants navigate a 6 mile out-and-back course that follows the Quartz Mountain Lookout Trail. The format is based on completing as many laps as possible within the designated time limits.
Course and Disciplines
The event offers three distinct options for participants:
- 6 Hour Run
- 2 Hour Run
- 2 Hour Ruck
The trail is marked with orange fluorescent flagging at eye level or staked into the ground. A course sweeper begins the final sweep one hour before the event concludes. All participants are responsible for marking a tally on their bib after every loop and checking in with the event staff.
Facilities and Support
Two semi-stocked aid stations are available to participants. One is located at the Selkirk Lodge start and finish area, and the other is at the Quartz Mountain Lookout Tower, which serves as the halfway point of the loop. These stations provide water, liquid nutrition, energy gels, and bars.
Participants are required to have a Discover Pass displayed in their vehicle for entry into the state park. Packet pick-up and a pre-race brief occur at the Selkirk Lodge on the morning of the event. Finishers receive a training shirt and a patch upon completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
