ROGUE//MOUNTAIN
ROGUE//MOUNTAIN is a timed trail event on October 2, 2027 in Spokane, WA, organized by Phase One Missions and staged from Selkirk Lodge at Mt Spokane State Park. The course is a 6 mile out-and-back from Selkirk Lodge to the Quartz Mountain Fire Lookout.
Event formats
- 2 HOUR RUN: 6 mile out and back, 2 hour cutoff
- 2 HOUR RUCK: 6 mile out and back, 2 hour cutoff, ruck not to exceed 45 pounds
- 6 HOUR RUN: 6 mile out and back, 6 hour cutoff
- 6 HOUR RUCK: 6 mile out and back, 6 hour cutoff, ruck not to exceed 45 pounds
The course will be marked with orange fluorescent flagging at eye level or staked along the trail. There are two semi-stocked aid stations at Selkirk Lodge (start/finish) and Quartz Mountain Lookout Tower (halfway). Aid station items include water, Tailwind Endurance Fuel, NeverSecond 30 gram gels and bars, and 1st Phorm protein bars and energy drinks.
Course sweepers start one hour before the event end. Participants should carry a Discover Pass displayed in their vehicle for park entry. Laps are tracked by photographing the Quartz Mountain Fire Lookout and showing proof to the Race Director at Selkirk Lodge; a tally will be marked on the bib. Organizers provide basic food, water, and electrolytes but recommend bringing personal nutrition. Completing the challenge earns a Phase One Training Tee and a patch.
