Rogue Gorge
Rogue Gorge is a two day trail event held October 17 and 18, 2026, in Union Creek, Oregon, within the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest in the Southern Oregon Cascades. Race staging and many activities are centered at the Union Creek Day Use Picnic Shelter and Amphitheater.
The weekend features the following distances:
- 50 Miler point to point trail run.
- 50K point to point trail run.
- Half Marathon lollipop loop style trail run.
- 12K lollipop loop style trail run.
Courses follow the Rogue Gorge Trail and the Upper Rogue River Trail, a National Recreation Trail. The singletrack traverses old growth forested bluffs above the Upper Rogue River and passes collapsed lava tube chasms, waterfalls and sections where the river flows through ancient lava tubes. The route runs alongside the Upper Rogue Wild and Scenic River through areas of fall foliage and mixed conifer forest.
Logistics include shuttle service for the point to point races and designated day use parking areas near Union Creek. Race services noted by the organizer include a fully marked course, aid stations, timing and results, medical support, professional photography and custom finisher awards. A portion of proceeds supports the Siskiyou Mountain Club. The 12K is affiliated with a youth trail running initiative and offers youth entry options.
