About the race
Robinette’s Wine Run 5k takes place at Robinette’s Apple Haus & Winery in Grand Rapids, MI on July 10, 2027. The route starts and finishes at the winery and tours the vineyards, with mostly cross country terrain that includes grass and uneven areas, so the course is not aimed at fast personal bests.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible portable wine glass, a finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib for the 5k run/walk, results posted online, and a pour of wine at the finish. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine; the race director may delay the start only in cases of severe weather or lightning.
Top three finishers in each age category receive a custom age group award. Age groups are 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & over. Age group medals are available for pickup the day of the event and are not shipped after the event; results are posted at the timing provider’s site.
Packet pick-up is at the winery on Friday, July 9 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, and race day pickup is available the morning of the event. Minors may participate with a discounted registration but will not receive a wine glass or a pour of wine. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers may participate free and do not need to register. Dogs are prohibited on site.
