Ridge Reaper 5k & 10k
The Ridge Reaper is a trail running event held on August 14, 2027 at Bull Run Marina in Clifton, Virginia. The course runs along the Bull Run Occoquan Trail and is described as hilly, partly out-and-back with significant one-way sections. A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person.

Runners receive a finisher’s medal and a technical Dri-FIT event shirt; shirts are guaranteed for entries submitted before August 4. The event is chip timed and posts live results on Athlinks, with final results and series points published the Monday after the race. Photos taken by staff are posted by the Tuesday after the event.
Points from this race count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series, and also toward the Summer Series. The Back of the Pack series is aimed at runners who average a pace slower than the listed BOTP time; the listed Back of the Pack time for this event is 14:30.
Event logistics include on-site packet pickup and race day registration, limited water stations on course (Gatorade at some stations), portajohns near the start/finish, and a banditing policy that forbids unregistered participation.
