Revolution Run - Council Bluffs
Revolution Run is the inaugural road running event on July 3, 2027 at the Wabash Trace Trailhead, 4102 Harry Langdon Blvd, Council Bluffs, Iowa. The event offers three distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10K
- 5K
All three distances use out-and-back courses on the Wabash Trace Trail. The event provides professional chip timing, an official Revolution Run shirt, a finisher medal, and overall and age-group awards. Aid stations are placed approximately every mile and supply water and Gatorade. The course has a published time limit of four hours.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Peak Performance in Bellevue and on race day at the start/finish area. A virtual option allows participants to complete the Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K remotely, submit a finish time and race photo, and receive the official shirt and finisher medal shipped within one week after race day.
Group and military discounts are offered: registering four or more participants in the same transaction qualifies for a per-person discount, and active-duty military members and veterans receive a percentage discount with verification. Registration fees are non-refundable but may be deferred to a future event. The event is held rain or shine and may be delayed, postponed, modified, or canceled for safety reasons.
