Restoration Trail 5K Run & Walk
The 2nd annual Restoration Trail 5K Run & Walk takes place on June 5, 2027 at Restoration, 3700 South River Church Rd, Woodleaf, NC. The event offers multiple course options on wooded grounds and uses looped routes through the campus.
Distances:
- Timed 5K Trail Run: 3.1 miles
- Timed Kids Fun Run: 1 mile
- Untimed 5K Trail Walk: 3.1 miles
The timed 5K follows three scenic one-mile loops and uses a chip timing system that records an official finish time at the final lap crossing. The course is described as well marked, with a finish line chute, a water station on course, and live results posted as participants finish. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. A medical team will be onsite.
The kids fun run is a one-mile loop on the church grounds for children ages 12 and under. There are no standings for the kids race and each child receives a finisher medal. Parents may run alongside registered children and must register them through a parent or guardian; check-in and t-shirt pickup are provided.
The untimed 5K walk follows the same looped trails with no timing or standings and includes water stations. Registration opens January 1, 2027 and closes April 3, 2027. Fees listed by event are $50 for the timed 5K, $20 for the kids run, and $25 for the untimed walk. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
