RememberRun 2026
RememberRun 2026 is the 18th annual edition, held on November 7, 2026 at Riverside Park, King Street West, Cambridge, ON, Canada. The event offers two distances and includes pre-race ceremonial elements such as a moment of silence, a live performance of the national anthem, and a piper before the race start.
Distances
- 5 KM, Athletics Canada certified 5 km course.
- 1.1 KM, untimed fun run loop.
The course is two loops. The first loop is a 1.1 km paved circuit where runners keep left. The second loop repeats the 1.1 km but adds an out-and-back trail section with gravel, wooden boardwalk, and grass; runners keep right on that loop with a counterclockwise turn before completing the loop as the first.
There are two water stations located at the start/finish and at the 2.4/3.6 km points. The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and the 5 km is certified by Athletics Canada.
Pledges support The Preston Legion Poppy Fund; the event lists amounts raised and a fundraising goal. Every finisher in both distances receives a finisher medal. Participants may purchase a technical t-shirt during registration while supplies last; stickers are available at kit pickup, one per person. Strollers and their passengers are free but must be registered and accompanied by a participant entered in a different sub-event.
