RememberRun 2026
RememberRun 2026 is the 18th annual event held in Riverside Park, King Street West, Cambridge, ON, Canada. The event offers two distances:
- 5 km
- 1.1 km fun run
The course combines road and trail through Riverside Park and is a two-loop design. The first loop is a 1.1 km paved circuit where runners stay to the left. The 5 km field completes a second loop that includes an out-and-back trail section with gravel, wooden boardwalk, and grass; on that loop runners stay to the right with a counterclockwise turn. The 5 km is certified by Athletics Canada and the event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario. There are two water stations located at the start/finish and at approximately the 2.4/3.6 km points.
A moment of silence, live singing of the national anthem, and a piper precede the start. Every finisher in both distances receives a finisher medal. Participants may purchase a technical t shirt during registration while supplies last, and stickers are available at kit pickup on a first come first served basis. The event supports fundraising for The Preston Legion Poppy Fund. Strollers and their passengers are free when registered as the Future Runner category and must be accompanied by a participant in a different sub event.
