About the race
The Agora Red Rock Challenge 2026 is a multi-sport event held in the Belval region of Luxembourg. The event takes place over two days and focuses on sports, culture, and the discovery of the southern region of Luxembourg, known for its industrial heritage and distinctive red soil. Participants can explore the Minett region, which includes protected natural areas and forest tracks.
The trail running portion of the event offers three distinct distances:
- 10.5 km
- 19.2 km
- 29 km
For the longer distances of 19.2 km and 29 km, shuttle buses are provided to transport participants from the Lycée Belval parking area to the respective start lines. Registration for all events is conducted exclusively online. The event center is located at Lycée Belval, where participants can collect their start numbers.
In addition to trail running, the weekend features other disciplines including an X-Duathlon, which can be completed solo or in teams of two or three members. The X-Duathlon consists of a 21 km mountain bike segment, followed by a 10 km trail run, and finishing with a 19 km mountain bike section. Mountain bike and gravel bike events are also part of the program, with various distances ranging from 32 km to 95 km.
