2026 Trail Party: Walk, Hike, or Run for rare
rare Charitable Research Reserve presents a fundraising Trail Party on September 20, 2026 at Riverbluffs Park and along the Grand Trunk Trail to the ECO Centre in Cambridge, Ontario. The event supports land conservation, education and research; the campaign goal is CA$50,000 and CA$28,176.93 (56%) has been raised so far.
Participants choose from three route options:
- Walk - Grand Trunk Trail to ECO Centre; accessible, strollers and leashed dogs allowed
- Hike - Side trails with narrow and rugged terrain; no dogs or strollers
- Run - Out and back for a full 5K on hard packed and asphalt surfaces
A single registration fee applies to each option (CA$34.62); kids 12 and under register free. Registration includes education stations and entertainment along the route, live music, a BBQ lunch at the ECO Centre, and a shuttle bus from the ECO Centre back to Riverbluffs Park. Parking is permitted at Riverbluffs Park only; participants are shuttled back from the Slit Barn. Participants who raise over CA$100 (CA$50 for kids) receive a 2026 bandana donated by Civilian Screen Printing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
