Rapid Relays
Rapid Relays is scheduled for 2 May 2027 at Culden Faw Estate, Henley on Thames. The event is built around a 4 km loop that mixes woodland trails, bluebell woods and views of the Chilterns skyline. A central race village provides music, commentary, a support zone, parking, catering, massage and a shop.
Racing formats include solo, pairs and teams. Solo competitors aim to cover as many laps as possible within a four hour window; typical targets are five laps (half marathon) or ten laps (marathon) and some runners complete more. Pairs run in relay over the same four hour period and may choose how to organise exchanges. Teams consist of three or four runners and compete in male, female or mixed categories.
Additional on site services include massage throughout the day and a Horse Box Sauna that is present during the event with bookings opening 1 January 2027. Route side base setup is available without booking and overnight camping is available free of charge. Entry processing includes a Super Early Bird period that is open until 30 July 2026.
The event reported an approximately equal female to male participation split in 2025 and aims to provide a multi terrain relay format with event support and camping facilities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
